What makes you happy?
Have you ever asked yourself this question? When you were talking to yourself, when you were looking at the schedule you have this week, when you were thinking about the next deadline, when you were thinking about how much to do at home, it ever occurred to you to ask yourself what things would rejoice the soul? Not what would make your loved ones happy, but directly on you … no matter how much they enjoy their good!
Even if you can’t afford it at the moment, it is very important to have at least an idea of what makes you happy, because, willingly or unwillingly, you will make your way there easier. Honestly, now, if we have considered this question, how many of us have thought about a house, a car, and how many have thought about a book, a person … or other things that do not cost ? We link our goals to certain material goods, most of the time we tend to reach a certain financial potential … and less often one of development, of common sense, because the truth is that it is much easier to live to satisfy our whims. material than the needs of our souls … quite sad.
Whether we allow ourselves the things we think would make us happy or not, the most important thing is to be aware of who they are. How do we build our way if we have no idea where it should go? How can we claim to be happy if we do not know how this could happen? It would be an idea (I say a really good one) not to link our happiness to anyone and anything, to understand how qualitative is the time we spend with ourselves, in the company of God … My opinion is that if on this plane stay well, everything will flow by itself from there.
The next time you review dozens of worries, fears and questions, you should ask yourself what makes you happy. At least get an idea … I don’t think it would hurt.
