A family from Michigan was recently enjoying a relaxing day at the beach in Fort Lauderdale, Florida when something extraordinary happened. They stumbled upon a enormous 20-foot wooden cross covered in barnacles. This unexpected sight left them completely stunned.

“Why would the sea finally cough it up at just that moment if it wasn’t meant for us to find it?” said Greg Gay, one of the family members who found the cross.

Since the discovery of the cross, many have been referring to it as a “holy sign” and citing “divine timing”. Frank Talerico, the owner of a nearby hotel, believes that the cross is a symbol of protection. He shared a remarkable incident that took place on the day the cross was found. Frank’s sister had woken up from a bad dream and decided to come to the beach to pray. Moments after she started praying, the family found the cross on the shore.

Frank fondly remembers the incident, saying, “She’s like, ‘You know what? It’s not that big of deal. I just had a bad dream and a bad feeling, so I wanted to come here and pray,’” He added, “I said, ‘OK, thanks for doing that.’”

The hotel has decided to keep the cross and is welcoming visitors to come see it and take pictures with it. The photos of the cross have quickly become viral, with people from all over sharing their thoughts and emotions.

“As a Christian, I know it’s not the cross that my Savior Jesus Christ was crucified on, but it is a holy symbolic warning sign for people who are walking in the darkness to wake up,” commented one social media user. Another person added, “It came from our heavenly father, he’s trying to tell us something!”
