Christine Brown and David Woolley: A Love Story for the Ages

Christine Brown and David Woolley recently embarked on a magical journey of love as they exchanged vows in a breathtaking wedding ceremony in Moab, Utah. Surrounded by 330 cherished friends and family members, they described their special day as a “fairytale” experience.

A Dreamy Celebration

The festivities began with a delightful dinner cruise along the enchanting Colorado River, where Christine and David celebrated their love with their loved ones. The following day, under a beautiful floral arch with the picturesque Colorado River as their backdrop, they exchanged heartfelt vows. As they walked down the aisle to the classic tune “At Last” by Etta James, their love filled the air with joy and excitement.

Their wedding ceremony was described as “short and sweet,” followed by an unforgettable evening under the twinkling lights of a decorated tent. During the cocktail hour, guests were treated to a delightful selection of beverages including sparkling apple cider, champagne, Moscow mules, and mojitos. The buffet featured mouthwatering dishes like roast beef, BBQ chicken, cowboy potatoes, baked beans, and corn on the cob.

A Dream Come True

For Christine, this wedding was a manifestation of her lifelong dreams. “It’s everything I never thought I would have. I get to walk down the aisle to David, him just looking at me the way that he does, it’s a dream come true,” Christine revealed. Every detail was carefully planned and executed by their dedicated wedding planner, Danielle Rothweiler.

Christine looked stunning in her white beaded dress from Boda Bridal, and her hair and makeup were skillfully done by Eliza Schmidt. The bridal party’s makeup was flawlessly handled by Cortney Hall. The beautiful floral arrangements, created by Ali McDermott from Magnolia and Lace, added an extra touch of elegance. And who could forget the two cakes that brought delight to everyone’s taste buds – a traditional three-tiered naked cake and a special Darth Vader-themed cake for the groom.

A Love Worth Waiting For

Christine Brown and David Woolley found solace in each other’s arms at the perfect moment in their lives. Although they started dating in December, they kept their relationship private until February. On Valentine’s Day, Christine revealed David’s name, and in April, David proposed. Now, they find themselves blissfully married.

David expressed his profound gratitude for finding Christine, remarking, “I’m really very lucky and very happy that someone let her go because she’s a unicorn.” He also shared the challenges he faced while dating after the passing of his wife in 2012, saying, “After my wife passed away, I dated, and I just could never find somebody. I knew Christine was ‘the one’. It just feels so right.”

A Perfect Unity

For Christine, being with David feels like coming home. She enthusiastically proclaimed, “David is just home. I feel like wherever we are together, we just create this amazing unity. We’re a solid unit, and whatever goes on around us just doesn’t even matter. Being married together just solidifies us.” The couple is overjoyed to start this new chapter of their lives together, where their love shines bright and strong.

Recalling their online meeting, Christine fondly mentioned how David’s “beautiful” profile caught her attention. It featured “all the right pictures” of him and his family, but it was his captivating eyes that truly won her over. She knew deep in her heart that she wanted to spend the rest of her life being looked at with those eyes.
