Woman Charged With Murder Delivers Message To Victim’s Family

After crashing during an illegal street race, an Alabama woman was charged with the murder of an innocent grandmother. However, before the body was even cold, the accused killer recorded a disturbing message for the victim’s family.

A Birmingham woman found herself in serious trouble after allegedly causing a fatal accident. Carmesia Flannigan, 22, was arrested and booked into Jefferson County Jail. Police documents state that while street racing, she crashed head-on into 52-year-old Brandy Ballard’s car, leading to Ballard’s tragic death.

Flannigan faces multiple charges, including murder, unlawful possession of a controlled substance, and leaving the scene of an accident with injury. However, it was her shocking message to the victim’s family and her accusers that caused added uproar.

After posting a $175,000 bond, Flannigan recorded a video message that quickly went viral. In the video, she used offensive language, insulted the deceased victim, and adamantly declared her innocence, claiming she would beat the murder charge.

“I ain’t killed nobody. You hear me? I ain’t killed nobody. This lady ran into me,” she later said. “They ain’t charging her with s***. They charging me because I was alive, and I was there, basically. That’s how the police work. But I’m not mad. B****, I handle my s*** like a motherf***** OG would. Yeah, she dead. She dead. but I didn’t do it. The f***? … She did it to her motherf****** self because she ran into me.”

“That old lady swerved into my lane,” she stated in the video, seemingly responding to online criticism. She denied fleeing the accident scene and blamed the police for arresting her simply because she survived and was present at the crash site.

Flannigan went as far as to suggest that Ballard was to blame for her own death. “I ain’t killed nobody. You hear me? I ain’t killed nobody. This lady ran into me,” she insisted. “They ain’t charging her with anything. They’re charging me because I was alive and there. That’s how the police work. But I’m not mad. Yeah, she’s dead. She’s dead. But I didn’t do it. She did it to herself because she ran into me.”

Although Flannigan eventually took down the video, she later uploaded a second, longer rant. This time, her mother defended her, and together, they promised to fight the criminal charges.

Not surprisingly, Ballard’s surviving family members were deeply upset by Flannigan’s lack of remorse and her harsh comments about their loved one. They hope the videos will demonstrate to the court that the accused deserves a severe penalty.
