Malia Obama was only 10 years old when her father, Barack Obama, was elected as the 44th President of the United States of America and the family moved into The White House. Malia Obama is the first daughter of a sitting president of the United States.

The oldest child of Barack and Michelle Obama has accomplished a lot in the years since then, and at the age of 24, she has established a successful profession for herself as a screenwriter.

Not only has she developed academically, but her style has also progressed throughout the years. She used to be a timid little girl who wore gowns and ribbons and who clung onto her father’s hand, but now she is an adult who rocked waist-length braids and is comfortable in her own unique eclectic and informal style.

The most recent sighting of Malia in public involves her rumored boyfriend, Dawit Eklund, and takes place in New York.

The former student at Harvard hid his identity by covering up with a large denim shirt and loose-fitting white leggings.

While the two were out for a stroll through the hectic streets of New York City, she wore dark sunglasses, which made her appear cool and relaxed.

Malia seems to be at ease and full of self-assurance as she enters a new era of her life. She is currently working for Donald Glover as a screenwriter for one of his Amazon shows, and her sister Sasha has begun attending university at the University of Southern California.

Sasha followed Malia to Los Angeles after she had been there for a few months, and the two young ladies are currently residing in Brentwood, close to the college where Sasha is enrolled in classes. Malia moved to Los Angeles first.

Both Barack and Michelle are extremely proud of their children, and earlier this year, when Malia turned 24, her mother composed a touching tribute that provided a window into her daughter’s personality. Both Barack and Michelle are incredibly proud of their children.

On Instagram, she said, “24 years ago, this day became extra special when your magnificent spirit entered in our world.” She was referring to the day that her son was born.

“I am overjoyed by the poised, compassionate, and self-motivated young lady that you have developed into. I adore you so, so much! With all my love, your Mother”

On his personal Instagram account, Barack Obama also paid tribute to Malia by posting a picture of his oldest daughter as a lovely infant along with the following caption:

“Happy birthday, Malia! You will never stop being my little girl, no matter how old you get, what you do in life, how stunning your appearance is, or how polite you are. And know that no matter what, I will never leave your side.”
