The King has decided: what will happen from today with Prince Harry and Meghan Markle

The British media appears to have moved on to a new topic: Meghan Markle’s husband, Prince Harry, after spending a week scrutinizing her every move, even the way she held her husband’s hand and the creases in her clothing.

There are more and more stories regarding Harry’s difficult connection with his father as the royal mourning for Queen Elizabeth goes on. Additionally, King Charles III may be the pettiest king of them all, if rumors are to be believed.

Victoria Ward, the royal writer for the Daily Telegraph, recently reported—via the Daily Beast—that Charles took nearly two hours to inform Harry that the queen had passed away. Harry “got that call sometime after Prince William,” according to Ward, even though Charles had contacted both of his sons early on September 8 to arrange a trip to Balmoral to visit the queen before her passing.

She allegedly said that Harry had to hurry to find his own trip to Balmoral because he was not asked to board the royal family’s private flight to Scotland. According to the article, Harry’s flight departed at 5:35 p.m., an hour after Liz Truss, the prime minister, was notified of the queen’s passing.

Five minutes before the royal family made the official announcement, at 6:25 p.m., Charles reportedly told Harry about the demise of his grandmother. Ward said that Harry didn’t even get to see his father or sibling when he arrived, which was the cherry on top. So much for Harry and Meghan receiving his “love.”

King Charles’ reign has only been more disorganized in the days since he ascended to the throne. Harry, a real veteran, and Prince Andrew, who is accused of rape, were both refused the right to wear their military uniforms at Queen Elizabeth’s service.

Then, sources claimed that on Sunday, September 18, he and Meghan were invited to a royal family reception at Buckingham Palace for world leaders.

Until Saturday, when it was revealed that the Duke and Duchess of Sussex had actually been declined, many people saw the invitation as a sign of goodwill. A palace spokeswoman stated that the reception was “for working members of the royal family” exclusively.

The drama with the outfit didn’t end there. Prince Harry was permitted to wear his military uniform to a vigil on Saturday night after reports that the only men in the direct line of succession who could not do so surfaced.

However, King Charles reportedly removed the queen’s “EIIR” royal cypher from Harry’s jacket, a “snub” that reportedly left Harry “heartbroken.” Harry attended Queen Elizabeth’s burial on Monday at Westminster Abbey dressed once more in his morning suit, sometimes known as commoner attire.

However, he made it plain through his spokeswoman that what he was wearing didn’t matter. He stated in a statement last week that “his decade of military service is not dictated by the uniform he wears and we humbly ask that focus stay on the life and legacy of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II.”

Overall, it’s possible that Harry’s insistence on wearing his morning suit was a mistake: Fans instantly flocked to the picture of him standing out amid the royal family in their military uniforms, making him look like a king, after he wore his suit to the queen’s parade earlier this week.

King Charles is anticipated to officially decide what titles Harry and Meghan’s children Archie and Lilibet will hold after the funeral. Although their titles have not been officially proclaimed, tradition and current legislation would have them keep HRH titles and become prince and princess.

According to accounts, King Charles’ decision might permanently make or break these family ties. It seems like there will be a lot more royal pettiness in the future.
