Sylvester Stallone and his wife made a shocking announcement a month after they decided to divorce

After 25 years of marriage, Jennifer Flavin filed for divorce on August 19, and she and Sylvester Stallone, with whom she has three kids, split custody of those daughters.

Sylvester Stallone and his wife Jennifer Flavin have decided to end their divorce proceedings.

The two are once again together. In addition, according to what the actor’s representative said to Page Six on Friday, “They talked things out and were able to reconcile their differences in the comfort of their own homes after making the decision to get together again. They both look like they are having a wonderful time.”

The announcement of their reconciliation comes just a few days after it was stated in a court filing in Palm Beach County, Florida, that both Flavin, 54, and Stallone, 76, had reached an agreement “that it is in the best interests of each of them individually, and more importantly collectively as a family to resolve all issues attendant to the dissolution of their marriage in a dignified, amicable, and private manner out-of-court.”

They have three kids together: Scarlett, 20, Sistine, 24, and Sophia, 26. The pair tied the knot in May of 1997.

On August 19, exactly one month and one day ago, Flavin submitted to Stallone a petition that asked “for dissolution of marriage and other relief.”

He refuted her allegations that Stallone “engaged in the purposeful dissipation, depletion, and/or waste of marital assets which has had a detrimental economic impact on the marriage estate.” She claimed that Stallone “engaged in the intentional dissipation, depletion, and/or waste of marital assets”

Following the filing of her divorce petition, Flavin told PEOPLE in an exclusive interview, “I’m sorry to break the news to you, but after 25 wonderful years of marriage to Sylvester Stallone, I’ve decided to file for divorce from him.

Despite the fact that we will no longer be married, I know that we are both devoted to our lovely girls and will always hold a special place in my heart for the more than three decades that we spent together as a couple. Please respect our request for privacy as we go forward in a cordial manner.”

In a statement made at the time, the actor who played Rambo also remarked, “My family is very dear to me. These are private matters that are now being discussed calmly and in private.”

On Monday of this week, Sylvester Stallone took a trip down memory lane on Instagram by posting a flashback photo of himself holding hands with his ex-wife. Along with the picture of the two of them, Sylvester Stallone also sent over an old family photograph that featured him, his wife, and their three daughters. Wonderful… ” was what he tagged the photo with.
