Now the funeral of his mother took place this week at Long Beach, and Snoop Dogg shared multiple pictures from the last rites on his Social Media. Wearing the full red matching clothes with his wife, Snoop Dogg was wearing a chain with a picture of him with his mother.
He was accompanied by his brothers and other family members, including his grandkids.
Snoop’s celebrity pals paid tribute to the rapper’s mother on social media, including David Beckham, who said, “Sending love and peace to the family.” Tyron Woodley and DJ Whoo Kid both included praying hand emojis in their posts.
Snoop chose not to postpone his planned show in the days following his mother’s death, instead spoke to the audience during his performance “I wasn’t even gonna come out here and perform tonight ’cause my mother passed away earlier tonight, but in the spirit of the people of Boston, I wanted to come out here and represent for y’all because this is what my mama would have wanted me to do,” Snoop said.
