Sandra Bullock’s agonizing final hours with her late partner were made public.

Sandra Bullock’s sister has revealed the actress’ final hours with her long-term partner Bryan Randall before he died.

The 57-year-old ‘Oceans 8’ actress tragically lost her 57-year-old spouse to ALS, a condition he’d kept hidden for several years.

His family said in a statement, “With deep sadness, we announce that Bryan Randall peacefully departed on August 5th, concluding a valiant 3-year battle against ALS.”

“Bryan made the deliberate choice to keep his fight with ALS private,” the family said, “and those of us who cared for him diligently respected his wish.”

“We express our heartfelt gratitude to the unwavering medical professionals who guided us through the complexities of this illness, and to the exceptional nurses who became an integral part of our lives, often putting their own families aside to stand by ours,” the statement continued. “We respectfully request privacy during this time as we mourn and try to come to terms with the hard reality of saying goodbye to Bryan.”

Bullock’s sister, Gesine Bullock-Prado, paid tribute to the talented model-turned-photographer on Instagram, providing some rare insight into the couple’s final moments.

“I’m convinced that Bry has found the best fishing spot in heaven and is already casting his lure into rushing rivers teaming with salmon,” Gesine posted on Monday (August 7), beside a smiling photo of Randall.

She also said that Bullock had remained by his side until his death on Saturday (August 5).

“ALS is a cruel disease, but there is some comfort in knowing he had the best caretakers in my amazing sister and the band of nurses she assembled who helped her look after him in their home,” Gesine continued. “Rest peacefully, Bryan.”

Randall’s family announced his death on Monday, disclosing that he had been fighting the condition, which destroys nerve cells in the spinal cord and brain, for some time.

Bullock, 59, met Randall in January 2015 when he photographed her son Louis’ birthday party. A few months later, the couple began dating, and they made their red carpet-debut that same year.

Despite her predilection for seclusion in her personal life, the ‘A Time to Kill’ actress said on ‘Red Table Talk’ in December 2021 that Randall was the “love of her life.”

At the time, the ‘Lost City’ actress extolled their blended family, which included Randall’s daughter Skylar and Sandra’s two children, Louis and Laila.

She remarked of co-parenting with Randall, “He sets the example I wish my children to follow.”

As of now, Bullock has not made any public statements regarding her partner’s passing.

In lieu of flowers, Randall’s family has encouraged contributions to the ALS Association and the Massachusetts General Hospital.

Our thoughts and prayers are with Bryan Randall’s friends and family, and Sandra Bullock at this difficult time.
