Riley Strain Found Deceased in Tragic Incident

We are deeply saddened to report that Riley Strain, a missing college student from Missouri, has been found deceased in a Nashville river. The 22-year-old’s body was located by the Metro Nashville Police Department in the Cumberland River in West Nashville early in the morning on Friday.

Preliminary investigations by the police did not indicate any signs of foul play or trauma. However, an autopsy has been scheduled to determine the cause of his death. Our thoughts and condolences go out to his family and friends during this difficult time.

Riley Strain’s Last Known Movements

Riley Strain was last seen on March 8 after being asked to leave Luke Bryan’s 32 Bridge Bar in downtown Nashville. Surveillance cameras captured him crossing the street from the bar and later on another security camera.

During this time, Strain had a brief encounter with the police. The following day, his fraternity brothers in Nashville reported him missing, which led to a large-scale search operation.

Discovering the Grim Reality

Despite extensive efforts, authorities were unable to locate Strain or any leads until March 16 when his bank card was discovered near the banks of the Cumberland River.

The discovery of Riley Strain’s body in the river is a heartbreaking development in the search for the missing college student. As the investigation continues, we join the community in keeping his family and friends in our thoughts and offering our condolences during this tragic time.
