Remember her? She was a symbol, however today she looks like this

The actors that starred in the popular primetime drama Dallas have experienced several changes since the show’s 1978 debut.

Just take a look at Victoria Principal’s life, who played Pamela in the television series Dallas. She has since embarked on a number of new occupations, authored books, been married and divorced, established a foundation, and engaged in a number of other activities.

From the very first episode of Dallas through the end of Season 10, Principal played Pamela. (In total, there were 14 seasons of the show.)

If you want a reminder: Even though their families were at first at odds, Pamela and Bobby Ewing (Patrick Duffy) were two of the primary characters and the show’s central marriage.

The fact that it was revealed that Pamela’s entire Season 9 dream was the main reason why you might recall Pamela from the show is another important factor.

But Principal’s days of unexpected dream sequence turns are now done. Continue reading to learn about her current life.

Principal’s first film job served as her first break before she became a star of Dallas. She co-starred with Paul Newman in The Life and Times of Judge Roy Bean in 1972, for which she received a Golden Globe nomination.

Before Dallas, she went on to make appearances in a number of TV shows and movies, such as Love, American Style, and Fantasy Island.

She continued acting after 10 seasons on Dallas, appearing in roles on Home Improvement, Providence, and The Practice in the 1990s and early 2000s. She also ran her own production firm at the time called Victoria Principal Productions, which produced a number of TV movies.

Titans, a 2000 television series, featured Principal’s final performance. I have no plans to continue acting, but I learnt a long time ago to “never say never” since life has a way of giving us unexpected gifts if we are paying attention, she said in an interview with TV Insider in 2018.

She has launched a skincare company and written several books.

The Body Principal (1983), The Beauty Principal (1984), The Diet Principal (1987), and Living Principal are Principal’s four books, all of which are about health and beauty (2001). Her primary attention shifted to this sector, and she spent 30 years managing her own skincare company, Principal Secret.

She explained her choice to leave the entertainment industry to People in 2018: “My interest had altered in such a manner that to not pursue my passion, which more and more genuinely was my skincare brand and developing things that might help many people.”

Nevertheless, she left her company in 2019. In a statement to Entertainment Tonight, Victoria Principal said, “I will be stepping down after 30 years in the skincare business and 28 years as the President & Founder of Principal Secret to devote myself full time to my philanthropic work through The Victoria Principal Foundation for Thoughtful Existence and my rescue work with animals.

She is extremely concerned with the environment.

According to Principal, she established her organization in 2006 with a specific goal in mind. The motivation, she explained, “is to assist financially support this lovely planet and life on it.” “I’m very interested in ecology, the oceans, preventing the use of dangerous substances, and assisting kids and animals.”

On her own rescue ranch, she also provides assistance to animals. She said, “I rescue and rehabilitate animals that have been abused and neglected. “To heal physically, emotionally, and spiritually, they require medical attention, tolerance, and love.

They all spend the remainder of their lives with me in my dream organization, which is not a benevolent one. Every day, it brings me joy, but my business manager doesn’t feel the same way.”

The principal has gone through two divorces and marriages. From 1978 until 1981, she was wed to writer and producer Christopher Skinner.

Then, from 1985 to 2006, she was wed to plastic surgeon Harry Glassman. In the year between her two marriages, Principal dated musician Andy Gibb, with whom she co-wrote the song “All I Have to Do Is Dream.”

According to Principal, she and her Dallas co-stars didn’t have a deep personal bond. Although there were phone calls, she claimed that she didn’t actually have get-togethers. “We never truly got together.

We had distinct lifestyles and worked together. In addition to Steve Kanaly, Larry Hagman, Linda Gray, and Patrick, who were all married and starting families when I started the show, these individuals also had children at the time.

I was by myself. These lifestyles are therefore very dissimilar.” Nevertheless, she described the late actress Barbara Bel Geddes, who played Ellie Ewing, as her “idol” and stated she had a relationship with her.

Principal is happy to see that the show continues despite this, though. Based on all the responses I’ve received, she added, “I’m delighted that parents are introducing their children or their grandchildren to Dallas.” “I’m really happy that people still think of Dallas.”
