Meghan Markle’s Engagement Ring Tops List as Most-Searched in the World (Which Royal Ring Came in Second?)

Meghan Markle’s engagement ring continues to captivate hearts worldwide, more than six years after Prince Harry’s proposal.
The Duchess of Sussex’s three-stone diamond stunner has been crowned the most-searched celebrity engagement ring globally, according to a recent study by U.K. jeweler Ramsden’s Jewellery. Analyzing global search data over the past year, the study revealed that Meghan’s ring garnered approximately 51,283 searches per month.
In second place is Princess Diana’s famous sapphire and diamond ring, now worn by Meghan’s sister-in-law, Kate Middleton, with an average of 22,100 monthly searches. Other celebrity rings that made the top five include those of Megan Fox, Millie Bobby Brown, and Hailey Bieber.
When Prince Harry proposed, he put a lot of thought into creating something special. Working with Cleave and Company, jewelers to his late grandmother, Queen Elizabeth, Harry designed Meghan’s ring with an ethically sourced center diamond from Botswana, where the couple enjoyed one of their first romantic trips. This center stone is flanked by two smaller diamonds from Princess Diana’s personal collection, adding a touch of history and sentiment.
Usually, Meghan, 42, pairs her engagement ring with her Welsh gold wedding band and an eternity ring she received from Harry as an anniversary gift in 2019. However, she recently made headlines by stepping out without her engagement ring, including at the Invictus Games in Düsseldorf, Germany, in September 2023.
