Meghan Markle threatened to break up with Prince Harry

According to a recent book excerpt that was released by The Times of London, Meghan Markle allegedly told Prince Harry that she would quit their relationship if he did not publicly announce that they were a couple. The passage was taken from the book “Suits.”

According to two unnamed sources who spoke to the author of the soon-to-be-released book titled “Courtiers:

The Hidden Power Behind the Crown” written by Valentine Low, the author was told that Meghan presented Harry with an ultimatum regarding their relationship, which caused him to experience a state of panic.

One of her threats, according to one source who spoke to Low, was that she would end their relationship if he did not publicly acknowledge her as his girlfriend.

The author heard from a second source that Harry was “going crazy and saying, ‘She’s going to dump me.’”

According to the book, Harry made contact with Jason Knauf, who was serving at the time as the communications secretary for Prince William, Kate Middleton, and Prince Harry.

Reportedly, Harry instructed Knauf to issue a statement confirming his relationship with Meghan and condemning the harsh treatment she endured from British tabloids. Harry also instructed Knauf to say that he and Meghan are engaged.

According to the book, Meghan informed Harry’s employees that she knew “how the palace worked” and added, “you don’t care about the girlfriend.” Meghan also said that she knew “how the palace functioned.”

“The personnel working for Harry were aware that Meghan was unique in comparison to prior royal companions. She was not afraid to express her viewpoints and was not shy about sharing them with others.

She told one of Harry’s advisors in the spring of 2017, more than six months before the pair became engaged, “I think we both know I’m going to be one of your bosses shortly,” “according to a passage that was taken from the book.

The representatives of the Duke and Duchess of Sussex as well as Buckingham Palace did not reply promptly to the request for comment that was made by Insider.

In addition, Low claimed in March 2021 that the Duchess of Sussex had bullied two senior members of the Buckingham Palace staff during the time that she was employed by the royal family.

In an email that Knauf allegedly sent to William’s former private secretary, in which he expressed anxiety “that nothing will be done,” The Times made reference to the communication.

The shocking interview that Prince Harry and Meghan Markle gave to Oprah Winfrey was broadcast just days after the article was published.

Insider’s Mikhaila Friel reported in September 2021 that some of Meghan’s former staff workers recanted their assertions that the duchess bullied them, as stated in the royal biography titled “Finding Freedom.”

On October 6, the book “Courtiers: The Hidden Power Behind the Crown” will be made available to the public.
