Madonna posts her first selfies after a terrifying ICU scare, thanking fans for their support.

Madonna has taken to social media for the first time after being released from the hospital to publish breathtaking selfies.

The 64-year-old actress had a brief but worrying ICU hospitalization due to a “serious bacterial infection,” forcing her team to cancel her next tour.

Madonna is sharing images with her admirers for the first time since the incident.

The ‘Vogue’ singer shared a series of selfies on social media on Tuesday (July 18). Madonna can be seen with a tranquil expression clutching a giant bouquet of pink roses in one Instagram image.

“A single rose can be my garden,” she captioned. “A single friend my world. Thank you.”

She also posted two back-to-back photographs on Instagram Stories, showing her cozily cradling a purple plush animal. In the first selfie, she looks serious at the camera, but in the second, she hides slightly behind the soft toy.

Madonna took to Instagram on July 10 to express her gratitude and share an update on her health following her hospitalization. She thanked her followers for their “positive energy, prayers, and words of healing and encouragement.”

Madonna also expressed concern for her children and stated her commitment not to disappoint her fans and the dedicated staff who worked on her program.

She also reminded her fans that her priority is her health and healing, and she promised to reschedule the North American part of her tour, which will begin in Europe in October.

Live Nation acknowledged the regrettable cancellation of the first leg of The Celebration Tour in North America in a press release issued the same day. According to People, the business asked people to keep their tickets because they will be valid for the rescheduled dates once they are announced.

Guy Oseary, Madonna’s manager, first revealed her hospitalization in a June 28 Instagram post, explaining the dangerous bacterial infection that led to her stay in the intensive care unit. He did, however, mention that her health was improving and that a full recovery was predicted.

According to a source close to Madonna, she has since returned home and continues her treatment under medical supervision.

Our thoughts and prayers are with Madonna.
