Kevin Costner Doesn’t Believe In ‘Getting Older,’ Despite Being 68 Years Old, He’s A ‘Class Act.’

Kevin Costner has always captured our hearts on the big screen with his actions and emotions. Some consider Costner the “king” of Hollywood romance because he starred in many great love stories.

Despite his recurring role as the king of love on the big screen, Costner had difficulty finding love in real life. After many years of failing relationships, the actor finally found love at 49 β€” and he has never looked back.

Kevin Costner is a multi-talented actor with an endearing personality.

This is evident in his iconic roles in films such as “Field of Dreams,” “Bull Durham,” and “Dances With Wolves.” For more than three decades, Costner has been a major Hollywood star. In 1990, he received two Academy Awards for his outstanding performance in the film “Dances with Wolves.” Following that, he appeared in “Robin Hood: Prince of Thieves” and “JFK.”

While he is the epitome of a successful actor, the father of seven beautiful children is also a leading man. The California native is also a father figure to four sons, Joe, Liam, and Cayden, and Hayes, and three daughters, Annie, Lily, and Grace. The part may appear intimidating, but Costner says he enjoys it that way.

Costner turned 68 on January 18, 2023, and he posted an inspiring message to people his age that resonated with his outlook on life and her attitude toward aging.

Costner spent his adolescent years in Compton, California, moving frequently due to his father’s job as an electrician and changing bosses. The family also lived in Ventura, Visalia, and Orange County, in addition to Lynwood and Compton.

Costner eventually pursued acting. During his first few years on the job, it appeared that luck was eluding him, as his scenes on “The Big Chill” were cut. Costner was cast in “Silverado” in 1985, which he considered his most significant break in the industry. He also appeared in “The Bodyguard,” opposite music icon Whitney Houston.

Since then, he has starred in films such as “The Postman,” “Message in a Bottle,” “Rumor Has It,” and “Jack Ryan: Shadow Recruit,” among many others.

Costner established himself as one of Hollywood’s most revered actors over the years, which is why his castmates on “Yellowstone” have grown fond of and comfortable with him.

Cole Hauser, Costner’s co-star, revealed in an interview that Costner is someone he looks up to in the cast because of their humble similarities.

“Before he was an actor or a creative soul, he was just him,” Hauser admitted. “And getting to know him over the last five years, I mean, I’ve learned a lot about just being a gentleman on set and a class act. He has a family. I have three children and an amazing wife. And, in my opinion, he’s someone to look up to.”

Costner, who turns 68 on January 18, 2023, wrote a short but touching birthday message, confirming Hauser’s realization about his co-star.

Off-screen, Costner is a dedicated family man; the father of seven explained to People Magazine what it’s like to be a hands-on father.

“You have to get on the ground and play with them. And you teach them to be independent, and the unfortunate part is that they become so. “I’m like any other parent: I’m figuring it out,” he admitted.

He also dismissed how other people perceive his life as a celebrity parent.

“When I’m not making a movie, I’m living and on the freeway with my wife, getting the kids to their stuff, or I’m waiting for them to come out of a party. I’m just fiddling with my fingers. “People misunderstand how my life works,” he admitted.

On his 68th birthday, Costner took to Instagram to share wise words with his followers.

“Don’t believe what they say about aging. Every passing year is a gift, and it only gets better with time. “Thank you for the birthday wishes,” he wrote, posting a photo of himself dressed up in jeans, a cowboy hat, and his trademark smile.

Costner’s message was simple but meaningful, resonating with his grounded, straightforward, and optimistic outlook on life.

The post came days after Costner won the Golden Globe for Best Actor in a Television Series (Drama).

“I share this recognition with my castmates, the producers, and our incredible crew. “Thank you, most of all, to our show’s fans, who adore Yellowstone Ranch as if it were their own,” Costner wrote on Instagram, thanking the Hollywood Foreign Press Association for the honor.
