You should eat natural fruits and veggies because they are healthy, but you might not know that you shouldn’t mix them. Consider the examples of tomatoes and cucumbers.

Both tomatoes and cucumbers are good for our health. They both include lots of antioxidants, vitamins, minerals, and water. However, you shouldn’t employ both at once! According to Ayurveda, we should be aware of an ingredient’s particular digestion time before selecting it for a salad.

The lighter element will pass through the colon just as the first one is finished digesting, thus it is not a good idea to combine veggies that digest more quickly with vegetables that digest more slowly. Food will ferment as a result, possibly polluting the rest of the body, in the stomach.

Additionally, it will stop the fermentation and digestion of carbohydrates and carbs, which will hinder you from fully appreciating your meal. The fermentation process might result in gas, bloating, and stomach pain, which only serves to exacerbate the situation.

It is advised to never experiment with other meal pairings besides tomatoes and cucumbers. Let’s look at this:

Fruits after a meal: Fruits shouldn’t be retained in the stomach for too long because they take so long to digest. If you consume them immediately following a meal, you are more likely to experience acid reflux and other digestive issues.

Given that it contains a lot of carbs, which digest more slowly than protein and might cause fermentation and other digestive problems, the combination of macaroni and cheese (and macaroni and meat) should be avoided.

Combining cheese and vegetables makes you more likely to experience bloating.

Orange juice with bread or noodles may damage the enzyme that breaks down starch due to the acid level required to digest the juice.

Melon and watermelon should not be eaten with other fruits; they should only be eaten on their own.

Milk and bananas are known to cause sluggish digestion.

Although fruits and yogurt are a popular breakfast pairing, they slow down digestion and damage the intestinal flora.
