Michael reflected on his diagnosis and shared with CBS Mornings that learning he had Parkinson’s disease was a difficult and upsetting truth for him. Michael said this previously.

“Therefore, very early on in the marriage, she was subjected to this burdensome responsibility. And the moment when I informed her that I was realizing was the very last time that the two of us sobbed together over it, “he stated.

“Since then, there have been no more tears shed over Parkinson’s. We have simply made the best of the situation and moved on with our lives. But the very first time that happened, both of us ended up crying “Michael reflected on the moment to the host, Nate Burleson.

Since receiving his diagnosis, Michael has maintained his upbeat attitude, and he is extremely dedicated to bringing attention to the illness.

He disclosed the following on Instagram not long ago: “In 2018, I went through a serious struggle, and during that time, I was sitting on the ground and pondering. This kind of optimism is a complete and total waste of time, and this is quite unfortunate.

Then, as I worked my way through it, I had the realization that if you can maintain an attitude of gratitude, optimism is a sustainable state of mind.”

Since he decided to take a sabbatical from acting, the famous actor has been extremely successful in raising money for his charity, The Michael J. Fox foundation, which is dedicated to finding a treatment for Parkinson’s disease.

There is no cure for Parkinson’s disease at the present time; however, there are therapies that can help alleviate the symptoms and provide a higher quality of life for those who are diagnosed with the condition.
