Former child prodigy Erin Murphy, known for her role as young Tabitha Stephens in the beloved TV show “Bewitched,” is now a proud mom of six. Despite her success in Hollywood, Erin found a different calling in life that brings her great joy.

Erin Murphy, born in June 1964, starred in “Bewitched” alongside her fraternal twin sister, Diane Murphy. While Diane only appeared in 18 episodes of the first season, Erin continued her role as Tabitha throughout the series.

Erin’s passion for acting didn’t stop at “Bewitched.” She continued to pursue her Hollywood career, but she also had the freedom to choose what projects she wanted to be a part of. In an interview, Erin revealed that she turned down several offers to focus on other aspects of her life, like going to Girl Scout camp instead of taking a part on “The Waltons.”

After leaving Hollywood, Erin settled in Orange County but continued to travel to LA for work. She no longer subjected herself to grueling auditions, where she would be surrounded by other children who looked like her and faced constant rejection.

Reflecting on her experience, Erin remains grateful for the positive aspects of being a child star. She has had amazing opportunities and has crossed paths with influential people in the industry. Despite being away from the limelight, she still cherishes her time on “Bewitched” and fondly remembers the relationships she built with her co-stars.

Erin’s life took a new turn as she embraced motherhood. She got married multiple times and is currently happily married to Darren Dunckel. Alongside raising her six boys, Erin managed to stay connected to the entertainment industry. She hosted reality shows, served as a celebrity judge, and even started her own businesses.

Although Erin took a break from acting, she never ruled out a comeback. She dabbled in theater and TV projects in LA and found that people welcomed her with open arms because of her past success. While she plans to enjoy life to the fullest, she still has dreams of returning to the world of acting.

Apart from her busy work life, Erin is a hands-on mom to her six children. Motherhood brings her great joy, even though it can be chaotic at times. She always desired a big family and wouldn’t change a thing.

In addition to her busy schedule, Erin is also an advocate for autism awareness. Her son Parker has autism, which has inspired her to get involved in charity work related to the condition. She attends board meetings, volunteers, and speaks at events to support other parents going through similar challenges.

Erin believes in giving back and using her platform to create awareness and make a positive impact on society. As a parent, she wants to instill in her children the importance of empathy and compassion.

Even though Erin’s life has taken a different path from her days on “Bewitched,” she remains grateful for the incredible experiences she has had. She continues to embrace new opportunities, create memories with her loved ones, and make a difference in the world.
