Don’t throw your pearls in front of the pigs …
“Do not cast your pearls before swine, lest they trample them under their feet, and turn again and rend you.” (Matthew, 7, 6). There are many people who will take love, understanding, help from you, mumble them and put them aside, to take more and lack light. There are people who don’t want to give anything back, but want to take as much as they can without appreciating because they only really care about themselves …
God teaches us to be good, but not stupid. That is why it teaches us to protect our soul from those who want to tear it apart. Many will stay close to us when we are well, when they will benefit from us, and when hard times come they will move away and find someone else who is doing well. Even after everything they have gathered from you, they will still find something that will not suit them, they will still throw ugly words at you when they have the opportunity. Let them do what they can ….
There are people who will give us every reason to hate them. The only good thing we can do for them is not to hate them, but to let them be the way they think they are. In vain do we tell them about faith, blessing, love, and respect. In vain we are close to them, in vain we try to motivate them to move on if they simply do not want these things, if they like their way of being … moreover, if they like it!
You stay you: stay clean, stay beautiful, stay with God. Don’t indulge in ugly, dirty, dirty practices. Don’t be filled with anger and envy when you see others succeed. Enjoy everything around you. Enjoy the life you have received and live it beautifully! Live it away from people who would only hurt you. It’s impossible not to find them at some point, but beware … because you won’t be able to help them alone … because they’re not looking for help, they’re not looking for help, they’re looking for to pull down, to step on.
Love a lot and don’t be afraid to forgive, to let go of people and moments that have hurt you in the past. Choose everything that makes you happy. Forgiveness saves you from suffering. Don’t change for the sake of people who want you away from God because “it’s not their kind.” Don’t bother to suffer in this life, because no one deserves your pearls … and throwing them away is stupid.
