One of those persons who has an expensive and fascinating life that I believe everyone would like to live for at least a few days is the Duchess of Alba. In addition to her riches, she leads a pretty intriguing life.

Cayetana Fitz-James, the Duchess of Alba, is renowned for living a lavish lifestyle, for speaking up whenever necessary and refusing to hide, for undergoing additional plastic surgery, and for marrying much younger men, but they aren’t the only characteristics that truly define her.

She inherited everything at a young age when her mother passed away from illness in 1934, making her life challenging.

Cayetana was only 8 years old when her mother passed away, but thanks to their positive bond, he was able to support her. Spain’s history saw an extremely tumultuous period in the 1930s.

For instance, when the Spanish Royal Family was compelled to leave Spain in 1931, her father had to flee to France. In Spain, a democratic republic was created the same year the monarchy was overthrown.

With her father, she traveled to France, but she never felt at home there. She was thrilled when they relocated to London, where she received a very fine education and picked up the languages of Italian, German, French, and English.

She made a lot of vital connections in London as well, which led to a lot of life’s doors opening for her. She also spent time with Queen Elizabeth II, which is noteworthy.

Cayetana and Princess Margaret grew close, and both were known for their disobedience and occasionally disobeying the law. Cayetana married Pedro Luis Martnez de Irujo y Artacoz, a man from a wealthy Spanish family, when she was 21 years old.

The costly wedding was covered by international press. In 2015, the wedding reportedly cost the equivalent of $10,000,000. It was undoubtedly a wedding from a fairy tale.

Upon their arrival in Hollywood for their six-month honeymoon, the couple met many famous people, including Bing Crosby, Walt Disney, Charlie Chaplin, Marlene Dietrich, and Marilyn Monroe. Cayetana maintained contact with American celebrities after moving back to Spain, and Jackie Kennedy and Audrey Hepburn even paid her a visit.

Six children were born to Cayeta and her first husband, but he passed away at the young age of 53. After some time, she got remarried to Jess Aguirre y Ortiz de Zarate, who was 11 years her junior and not well liked by most people.

Cayetana admitted that the years she spent with Jesus were the finest of her life, despite the fact that he was called a toyboy and a gold-digger.

Cayeta continued to live her life in her own manner; she attended several gatherings and activities, did not try to blend in for comfort, and tried to make the most of every opportunity to have fun.

Sadly, her second husband passed away in 2001, and everyone assumed she would live the rest of her life as a widow. However, she had other ideas and decided to wed the government worker Alfonso Diez Carabantes. Even her kids suggested that she reconsider, but she was set on getting married to her new beau.

Due to the fact that Alfonso was 25 years younger than Cayetana, Spanish King Juan Carlos publicly referred to him as a gold-digger. The House of Alba said in 2008 that there would be no wedding but rather a friendship-based connection; yet, in 2011, a wedding did occur.

However, Cayetana made sure her children received what they were due from their fortune prior to the wedding, and Alfonso signed a document promising not to request any money from the duchess’s fortune.

The couple’s marriage appears to have been joyful, despite Cayetana’s struggles to keep up with her much younger spouse at times. She passed away at the age of 88 three years later. Her death was due to pneumonia.

In addition to her luxurious lifestyle, Cayetana was well-known for her cosmetic procedures. Although she was not bothered by her white hair, she made the decision to delay aging and sought the help of an esthetician.

She has faced criticism for her choices from many individuals, but she has made the choice for herself to act in her own best interests.

Despite the fact that everyone could plainly see that Cayetana had undergone cosmetic surgery to make herself appear younger, she chose to disregard the rumors about her and denied having done so.
