Close your arms around the people you care about, says Dukes of Hazzard actor John Schneider in tribute to his late wife, Alicia Allain, who passed away at 53.

Alicia Allain, John Schneider’s late wife, died at 53.

The Dukes of Hazzard actor posted on Facebook, “My lovely Smile is pain-free, living in her new body with Jesus. Please be considerate of our privacy at this trying time.”

The 62-year-old Schneider posted two pictures of Allain, one with his hand covering hers and their wedding bands on display. In his post, he pleaded with his friends and supporters to send pictures showing the couple’s “clear love and care for one another.

On movies like Auto Focus, Leather Jackets, and Caged Fear, Allain worked as a producer, performer, and hairstylist.

Allain’s fight with stage 4 breast cancer was addressed on Fox & Friends in January 2020, even if Schneider omitted a cause of death. According to Schneider, she was “three years into a five-year shelf life” when she was diagnosed.

Allain informed the hosts that she had researched pain treatment choices. “I did a speed course of reading what path I was going to take,” she said. “I decided to experiment with mineral grounding, CBD oil, and keto for cancer. I established a rather rigid routine.”

After that, the pair started selling CBoD Oil, named after Bo Duke, a character played by Schneider in Dukes of Hazzard.

In her obituary, Allain was described as “a force that inspired others” and as “kind and generous to everyone she met.” She consistently put herself last.

Tom Wopat, Schneider’s co-star on Dukes of Hazzard, posted an homage to the actor on Facebook. He said, “My thoughts and prayers are with him, as well as those of the entire Dukes nation. He will miss Alicia, who had a significant impact on both his personal and professional lives.”

“Hug those you love tight and let them know how you feel,” Schneider said.
