After losing 200 pounds, John Goodman walks the red carpet, completely unrecognizable.

When you mention John Goodman, most individuals will have the same mental picture come to mind.

The 70-year-old has, in fact, essentially remained the same for most of his career. Fans have grown accustomed to seeing Goodman play larger-than-life characters who frequently tip the scales toward the heavier end thanks to his outstanding performances in movies like The Big Lebowski, Argo, and O Brother, Where Art Thou?

I’m done. Goodman has been busy losing weight over the past few years and committed to doing so in 2007. Anyone who has been following his activities will be aware of this.

The 62nd Monte Carlo TV Festival, which took place this past weekend in Monaco, indicates that the actor, who has lost an incredible 200 pounds, appears to have succeeded in his goal.

According to Metro, Goodman attended the aforementioned event on Saturday and showed up dressed in cream chino pants and a navy blazer on the red carpet.

But the actor’s physique, which was in excellent shape after years of hard work to lose weight, caught people’s attention more than his attire.

Goodman committed to losing weight in 2007 when he first made that vow to himself. He reportedly quit drinking alcohol right away, but it wasn’t until he hired a fitness trainer that he reportedly started to notice a meaningful change in himself.

Goodman confessed to Howard Stern in 2016: “I took it slow. All I wanted to do was alter my way of life. I will continue to go through that throughout my entire life.

Every day when you look in the mirror, you think, “I’ve got to deal with this schmuck for the rest of the day.

Goodman reached his heaviest weight of around 400 pounds, but he is now much lighter. The 70-year-old has a “Mediterranean-style eating plan,” according to the MailOnline, focusing on fish, almonds, olive oil, vegetables, and fruit.

The Argo actor also works out six days a week and makes an effort to walk between 10,000 and 12,000 steps daily.

Over the weekend, Goodman:

Wow! I don’t know about you, but John Goodman’s change astounded me. What a motivating journey he’s had.
