According to Cameron Diaz, she refuses to follow one “basic rule of human hygiene.”

Recently, Cameron Diaz has shared her opinions on the pressures of conventional beauty standards.

She even shared a fundamental hygiene tip that she hadn’t followed in a while.

It’s certain to surprise you.

One of the most recognizable faces in the world is Cameron Diaz’s.

From playing the lead in a variety of other significant parts, including There’s Something About Mary, The Mask, The Holiday, and many others.

She has recently given up acting though.

And now she is completely focused on Raddix, her daughter who was born in 2019.

Diaz gave birth to her first child at the age of 47, which sparked a discussion and controversy regarding older parents all around the world.

However, Diaz is enjoying being a parent at her advanced age and claims that spending time with her daughter is a genuine type of heaven.

Diaz talked openly about having a child at age 47.

In reference to finding a healthy balance in life, Diaz said: “[Others] marry [and] start families in their youth. I guess you could say I’m doing it in my second half of life.

“I need to be about 107. No pressure then!

Having a family while you’re young is like doing anything else when you’re young, Diaz continued. It’s a true choice when you’re my age and make the decision to do it. It requires a lot of effort on your part.

Diaz has acknowledged that, after quitting Hollywood and becoming a mother at the age of 47, she has chosen to forego numerous social demands placed on women.

Diaz said on Michelle Visage’s podcast on loving her new life away from the spotlight: “The last eight years, girl – I’m like wild. I resemble a beast or a wild animal!

She left the big screen and ceased contributing to the continual focus on her appearance.

It’s “hard not to look at yourself and compare yourself against other markers of beauty,” according to Cameron.

She actively opposes this form of self-hatred and has taken a position against it.

Which has caused her beauty routine to undergo some significant modifications.

Although some people were a little freaked off by what she said…

And it makes sense why…

I hardly do anything. I don’t like to wash my face,” she admitted.

“If I’m lucky, I’ll think, ‘Oh, I best put this on.’ twice a month. Once is sufficient, right? Do I really only need to do that? I simply don’t have the energy to put any effort where I am right now.

That’s correct; she hardly ever washes her face, and there’s a good reason for it.

Having to use cosmetics and makeup every day, Cameron said, “You just start to take yourself apart.” And you think to yourself

“Why am I sitting here being so cruel to myself? My body is capable and strong. Why am I going to be so condescending? When it has like brought me this far, why am I going to be harsh to it?

She acknowledged that she is now done with that harmful beauty standard.

I could care less. What I look like is literally the last thing I consider each day, possibly not even once during the course of the day, she said.

We adore her fresh perspective on life!
