Can you imagine the shock of finding a massive python coming out of your toilet? That’s exactly what happened to a family in Thailand. On March 17, in the town of Samut Prakan, Suwi Paramas, a housewife, got the shock of her life when a colossal 12-foot snake suddenly appeared while she was washing her hands in the bathroom.

Understandably, Suwi was terrified. The sheer size of the snake sent shockwaves through the entire household. Fearing for their safety, they immediately called emergency services and a wildlife crew to the scene. However, capturing the snake proved to be quite challenging. The brave crew had to dismantle the plumbing to safely remove the snake.

Suwi shared her terrifying experience, saying, “I was so scared. I couldn’t even watch why they were catching the snake. It could have killed me.” It’s no wonder she was frightened, considering the immense size and potential danger of the python.

Thankfully, the operation was carried out without any harm to anyone involved. The snake was successfully rescued with the intention of releasing it back into its natural habitat.

This incident is not an isolated event in Thailand. Snakes, especially during hot seasons, seek refuge in cool and damp areas, making bathrooms an appealing hiding spot. In 2021, there was another unfortunate incident where a man was bitten by an 8-foot python in a restroom. Similarly, in 2016, a python bit a man in a rather sensitive area.

It’s important to be cautious and vigilant, especially when using bathrooms in areas prone to snake encounters. Taking necessary precautions and regularly checking the surroundings can go a long way in ensuring our safety.

So, the next time you use the bathroom, make sure to keep an eye out for any unexpected visitors!
