For a woman, the moment her dad walks her down the aisle is highly significant and happens only once in a lifetime. For her wedding, Robโs daughter Jess chose her stepfather for this special moment, breaking his heart. What happened next was even more unexpected. Feeling lost and distressed, Rob asked us to give him an advice.

Here is what Rob shared

My 23-year-old daughter, Jess, is getting married, and as her dad, I wanted to pay for the wedding. She told me that her stepdad of 13 years would be walking her down the aisle, saying, โHeโs the one who raised me while you were working.โ I called her โungratefulโ and told her that I worked to provide for her, but if this is what she wants, then I wonโt pay for the wedding.
The next day, she called me and said, โWell, Dad, if you cannot control your jealousy, then with a sad heart, I think it is best if you donโt show up at my wedding. We will manage without your money, even though it will be a much smaller event than planned.โ
Later, her stepdad knocked at my door. With a big smile, he said, โYou see, you will never break the bond I share with Jess. Being a father is not about the money you give; itโs about the time you spend with your children.โ
I am deeply offended by my daughterโs actions. If this is what she wants, then maybe itโs better I am not in her life at all.
Am I wrong to think this way?
Rob
