Melania Trump Shows Up on Final Night of RNC After Missing First Three Days

The former first lady, who decided to skip the speech this week (breaking the norm!), interestingly gave the first three days of the 2024 RNC a complete miss.

Making Her Grand Entrance (Finally!)

Melania Trump made her first grand entrance at the Republican National Convention in Milwaukee on Thursday, July 18. This is the day the GOP was rallying behind her husband, Donald Trump, and there she was, making fashionably (or politically?) late appearances!

You couldn’t help but wonder, “Where’s Melania?” for the first three days, especially when Trump’s running mate, Ohio senator J.D. Vance, was busy shaking hands with his wife, Usha, on the convention floor. Well, guess what? She decided to step in just minutes before Donald’s speech. The suspense!

Breaking Traditions and Missing Speeches

Melania, now 54, has historically taken to the stage at the RNC in 2016 and 2020 to grace us with her speeches. But this year? No dice. She wasn’t even among the speakers. Breaking traditions and keeping things spicy—or cold, depending on how you look at it.

For most of this campaign launched in November 2022, Melania has been notably missing from the trail. The big question everyone is asking: will she make more public appearances? Her answer was as elusive as ever, “Stay tuned.” Classic Melania.

Trying to Stay Out of the Spotlight

>

For months, sources have told us that Melania has been trying to keep her distance from her husband’s political shindigs, especially with all the legal drama surrounding his Manhattan criminal trial and the hush money payment to adult film actress Stormy Daniels. Not the kind of fun she signed up for, obviously.

One source spilled the beans last year saying, “It is not comfortable for her.” You think? Who could blame her!

Speaking Out After the Assassination Attempt

After the shocking assassination attempt on the former president, Melania released one of her most heartfelt public statements since leaving the White House in 2021. She emphasized a vision where “respect is paramount, family is first, and love transcends.”

“We are all humans, and fundamentally, instinctively, we want to help one another,” wrote Melania. Noble words indeed.

So there you have it. After a mysterious absence, Melania Trump made quite the entrance on the final night of the RNC. Love it or hate it, she’s always making headlines, even when she’s barely around to be seen!
