Jeremy Renner visits the hospital to thank the workers for saving his life.

Hollywood actor Jeremy Renner has had a challenging year after being seriously hurt in a snow plow accident on January 1. He shattered around 30 bones and was hospitalized in critical condition.

The actor is now back on his feet and making his first public appearances since the accident. He also recently paid a very special visit to the hospital to express his gratitude to the staff members who saved his life.

The 52-year-old actor was engaged in an accident on January 1 at his Washoe County, Nevada property where a 14,330-pound snowcat ran him over.

Renner was reportedly clearing snow off his nephew’s driveway. Renner stepped in to save his nephew when the car slid down the roadway, but he was pulled under the track.

According to Alex Renner, Renner’s nephew, “I see him in a pool of blood coming from his head,” during a Diane Sawyer interview. I rushed over to him. I didn’t believe he was still alive.

“What’s going to my body look like?” Renner remembered his thoughts. “Am I just going to be like a spine and a brain like a science experiment?”

Renner shattered around 30 bones throughout his body after suffering blunt chest injuries. Renner was in the intensive care unit after being airlifted to the hospital and in critical but stable condition.

The actor’s wounds were life-threatening, and he once penned his family his final words in case he didn’t make it.

Renner did, however, make a steady recovery because of the treatment he received in the hospital. On January 17, he was discharged from the hospital after regaining his walking capacity.

The actor has recently regained enough strength to go back to public life. He has participated in interviews with Jimmy Kimmel and Diane Sawyer, and he made his first public appearance following the accident at the Rennervations premiere.

He recently revisited the hospital, but it was for a good cause this time.

Jeremy Renner made a memorable return trip to the Renown Regional Medical Center in Reno, Nevada, where he received treatment.

“I got to revisit the amazing group of people who saved my life,” the author stated.

The actor can be seen in images posing with hospital employees. The staff put up a sign that reads “Welcome Back” to show how thrilled they were to see their famous former patient return for a visit.

Renner claimed in a Jimmy Kimmel interview that he wasn’t the easiest patient and couldn’t wait to get out of the hospital while recovering.

As soon as I was in the hospital, “I kept trying to get out of it,” he recalled. “I say, ‘I’m out of here,'” I’m disgusted with what I was wearing. It was awful.”

“I’m like, the lights are flickering, everyone in here is moaning like they’re dying in the ICU…. this is like a haunted house,” he added about being “kicked out” of the original ICU, which he said was still under construction.

In response to Kimmel’s theory that Renner might have hallucinated due to the medications they gave him, Renner smiled and said, “I’m going back to the hospital this week to apologize to every one of those nurses.”

Renner fulfilled his commitment. Although hospital stays are never pleasant, Renner is appreciative to the people that helped him survive his tragic tragedy.

Jeremy Renner has made a fantastic recovery, and we want to thank the medical staff who helped save his life.
