The most popular star of the 90s became unrecognisable.

It seems she has returned.

On Friday, Raquel Welch was spotted in public for the first time in more than two years when she went to the Beverly Hills building where Heritage Auctions is located.

The 81-year-old actress, who rose to popularity as a sex symbol of the 1960s, was photographed by the paparazzi while dressed in a casual outfit consisting of a white shirt, black leggings, and platform shoes. She also wore a straw hat and fashionable eyeglasses.

Fans hadn’t seen or heard from Welch since she gave an interview to the Sunday Post in the United Kingdom in early 2019, until her most recent daylight appearance.

The entertainer, who rose to prominence in movies such as “Bedazzled,” “The Biggest Bundle of Them All,” and “One Million Years B.C.,” disclosed to the publication that she takes pleasure in maintaining a “low profile” despite her decades-long career in the spotlight.

Despite this, Welch acknowledged that there are times when it is “good to be noticed.”

“I think it is much better than not being noticed!” she exclaimed at the moment. “I think it is much better than not being noticed.” “Getting noticed has been the single most important aspect of my profession, just like it is for every other actor and actress, therefore I am extremely grateful that people are still interested.”

The actress who won a Golden Globe was well-known for her many high-profile relationships, in addition to the legendary roles she played in films.

Throughout her marriages to actor Richie Palmer, producer Patrick Curtis, director André Weinfeld, and first husband James Westley Welch, the four-time divorcee’s personal life was regularly in the news due to controversial events that occurred during those marriages.

Welch, who was born in Chicago under the name Jo Raquel Tejada, has enjoyed the independence that comes with being a single woman for more than a decade after her divorce from Palmer in 2008.

In 2011, she gave an interview to Elle magazine in which she said, “I adore men and I love their company, but I am too independent and self-motivated.” “I’m open to dating, but, to tell you the truth, there are fewer and fewer eligible persons my age,” she said. “I’m willing to date.”

She continued by saying, “I don’t mind the traditional roles of male and female; nevertheless, as you can probably guess, I am a very strong-minded lady.”

“I have no doubt that a great number of men would find me to be a formidable opponent. They wouldn’t be interested in dealing with it, and even if they were, I might not be all that interested in dealing with it even if they were.”
