Remember Chumlee from Pawn Stars? He was arrested and faces many years in prison, look what he did

According to several reports, Austin Lee Russell, the star of Pawn Stars and better known to fans as Chumlee, told a judge on Monday that he would accept a plea bargain for charges including drugs and firearms arising from a police raid on his Las Vegas home in March.

According to the Las Vegas Review-Journal, Russell will enter a guilty plea to one count of attempted possession of a controlled drug. As part of the plea agreement, a second felony weapon charge will be upheld. Russell must relinquish the firearms and drugs police claim they discovered on his property in addition to serving three years of probation and attending counseling.

During Russell’s arrest on March 9, police claimed discovered 12 pistols, a gallon plastic bag containing marijuana, and a tiny amount of methamphetamine.

Police allegedly found handguns, rifles, and an assault-style MP5 among the firearms they recovered. Because they were looking into a sexual assault, police were at Russell’s house. He was freed after posting a $62,000 bail and was not charged in the sexual assault case.

According to Fox News, the felony case against Russell, 33, would be dropped provided he remains trouble-free through 2019. If he doesn’t, he may spend two to five years in state jail.

Russell is scheduled to return to court to enter his pleas, according to ABC News.

According to an arrest report acquired by The Associated Press, police allegedly discovered 12 guns, a gallon plastic bag containing marijuana, and a tiny amount of methamphetamine. Additionally, according to police, his home had Xanax prescription pills.

According to David Chesnoff, Russell’s attorney, the reality star is eager to put the situation behind him.

In a statement, Chesnoff states, “We will be assessing what was purportedly found and whether the alleged search was lawful in a courtroom, not in the public.” Austin and I both have a strong belief in the legal system and are hopeful that the case will be resolved fairly.

The firearms that police allegedly seized were handguns and rifles, including an assault-style MP5, according to the police report. After a police raid on his Las Vegas residence, Russell, 33, was taken into custody on 19 weapons and narcotics charges.

The cops who conducted the raid were looking into a sexual assault. He was not charged in the sexual assault case, and no formal complaints have been made against him about the narcotics or firearms to yet. After posting a $62,000 bail, he was freed.

A source said that Russell was renowned for his wild parties.

The insider claimed, “He smokes a lot of pot and has a gun.”

Despite the History Channel’s refusal to comment on the matter, the network that airs Pawn Stars told PEOPLE last week that “they are just letting the court system play out for the time being.”
