Photographer Captures Rare Full Lightning Strike in the Ocean – It’s Unbelievable
Mother Nature is a glorious artist who’s full of surprises. Just ask the photographer who happened to capture this unbelievable sight.
Clint Blevins was filming the ocean in a rainstorm just off the coast of Daytona Beach, Florida. He had noticed a few smaller lightning strikes hitting just off the coast, so he started trying to catch them on film.
A few minutes later, Clint was shocked by a massive strike much closer to the shore. It is rare to get a video of a full lightning strike this close, but thanks to Clint, we now have a clip of it.
Clint’s lucky he was filming from the beach and not in a boat!
