Our thoughts and prayers go out to Demi Lovato and her family for their tragic loss
After their grandmother Sue Hart passed away on Saturday, Demi Lovato turned to Instagram to pay a touching homage to her in the photo-sharing app.
The singer–songwriter, who is 29 years old, expressed their sorrow over the passing of a cherished family member in a series of images that were uploaded to their Instagram story.
They commented, “This hurts so f**king awful,” on the first post, which showed Lovato standing next to Hart with a wide smile on their face. The caption also included an expletive.
“Grandma, I’m going to miss both you and our phone calls by a great deal. I am missing you so much already @merryhearts, followed by multiple broken heart emojis.
The next post made by the Heart Attack singer included photographs of members of their family from multiple generations posing together.
Later on, Demi Lovato shared with the media that her sister-in-law, Kevin Hart, was a very generous person, revealing that Hart had “saved three lives donating her organs” over a photo of their deceased grandma.
Lovato also shared a few of photographs from other Instagram accounts, including a picture that their grandmother had posted on Instagram quite a few years ago and that showed her and an unknown man giving Lovato a kiss on each cheek.
It is not quite obvious who the man in the photo was; however, it is possible that the individual in question was Sue’s husband Joe, Demi’s grandfather, who passed away in July of 2020.
In addition to this, they shared a link to a post written by their mother, Dianna De La Garza, that stated, “My heart is shattered tonight but I know you’re flying with the angels now…
Please tell Daddy that I adore him and give him a kiss on the cheek in my stead. You guys have a lot of ground to make up… I will always adore you, my dear, hilarious, and lovely mother, and I know that we will meet again someday…
The photograph depicted Sue wearing a pink attire while her daughter clutched her firmly and the two of them rubbed their cheeks against each other.
On the other hand, Lovato concluded their Instagram photo set on a positive note by revealing their fans that they had discovered a bird’s feather in their “meditation pyramid.”
They followed that up by posting a text message in which they said that feathers are commonly understood to represent ‘angels, ascension, wind, and connection to a higher realm.’
Lovato had several interactions with birds of prey throughout the course of their day, including a few hawks that flew over the star’s home.
In a another text piece that they distributed, they stated that, “According to Native Americans, hawks are protectors as well as messengers from ancestors.”
There is no information available regarding the cause of the Cool For The Summer star’s grandmother’s death.
