One of the most famous actors has committed suicide

According to the entertainment news outlet Geek Ireland, the passing of the actor and mixed martial artist Jason David Frank, who was best known for his role in the television series Mighty Morphin Power Rangers, has been confirmed by his reps. He had reached the age of 49.

In the early 1990s, Frank became famous for his role as the green Power Ranger, Tommy Oliver, in a children’s television show about superheroes who are very skilled in martial arts. In later seasons of the show, Frank played the white Power Ranger. The television show spawned multiple films, action figures, and various types of toys.

There was no formal announcement on the cause of death; however, many stories suggested that Frank had committed suicide.

As soon as news of Frank’s passing spread, fans of the Mighty Morphin Power Rangers descended upon social media to pay their respects.

The Iron Sheik, a professional wrestler, was one of the people who expressed their condolences on social media. He wrote on Twitter, “RIP JDF YOU THE REAL LEGEND… I Will Always and Forever Love You”

The actor who originated the role of the black power ranger, Walter Emanuel Jones, expressed his sadness over the passing of a member of his “special family” in a post he made on Instagram.

Jones’s post continued with the phrase “Can’t believe it.”

Mighty Morphin Power Rangers was an American television show that aired on Fox in 1993 and quickly rose to prominence as a sensation in popular culture. The show followed the adventures of five youths who were tasked with protecting the planet from various threats.

In the beginning of the first season, Rita Repulsa used her influence to turn Frank’s character into a bad guy. During this time, Frank’s character was a villain. But not long after that, he was accepted into the team of heroes and quickly rose to prominence as one of the most well-liked characters on the program and the games that were connected to it.

Frank, a student of many forms of martial arts, competed in a number of mixed martial arts bouts in the years 2009 and 2010.

The news of Frank’s passing was initially broken by TMZ, which also stated that his second wife, Tammie Frank, had filed for divorce from him in August. Frank is survived by four children; one is from his marriage with Tammie Frank, and the other three are from his first marriage, which was to Shawna Frank.
