‘NCIS’ Mark Harmon Stays; The Truth Behind Michael Weatherly, Cote de Pablo Return

“NCIS” has faced rumors of cancellation since Michael Weatherly left the show last season. The current season has seen lower ratings compared to previous seasons, which has been disappointing for fans.

There are now speculations that Mark Harmon, another core cast member, might also be leaving the series, supposedly for health reasons. Despite the drop in ratings, “NCIS” remains one of the most watched shows on TV. CBS has already confirmed that it will have another season, but fans are worried that the show will continue without Mark Harmon, who is not only an original cast member but also the acknowledged leader.

Lately, Mark Harmon, who plays Leroy Jethro Gibbs, has been the center of attention for “NCIS” fans. Many of them have noticed that he has lost weight and has had less screen time in recent episodes. This has led to speculations that Harmon may need a break to rest and recover, and there is even concern that he may have to leave the show temporarily or, worse, for good.

In an interview with Entertainment Tonight, Mark Harmon addressed the concerns about the show’s future. He emphasized that everyone involved in “NCIS” has put in a lot of hard work to bring the show to its current status. He also mentioned the importance of appreciating their accomplishments in the midst of everything that is happening.

When asked about the show eventually ending, Mark Harmon acknowledged that all things come to an end. He added, “Who knows when this one will? For now, it’s important to enjoy this in the midst of everything that is happening.” Meanwhile, some sources suggest that the lower ratings for “NCIS” can be expected after the departure of fan favorites Michael Weatherly and Cote de Pablo, according to TV Line.

However, the low ratings could potentially prompt CBS to bring back Michael Weatherly, who portrayed Tony DiNozzo. Unfortunately, Weatherly is now busy with his own CBS series called “Bull,” which may limit his availability for another TV series. As for Cote de Pablo’s character, Ziva David, it appears that she is dead on the show. Although one fan argues that her body was never recovered and her death has not been confirmed.

Do you think “NCIS” should consider bringing back Michael Weatherly and Cote de Pablo to restore the show to its former glory? And is Mark Harmon really too sick to continue with the show? Share your thoughts with us.
