Mick Jagger’s Mini-Me Kid Is Identical to His Famous Rockstar Father

Mick Jagger is a prominent rock ‘n’ roll legend. The Rolling Stones vocalist and bad boy of the British music industry in the 1960s and 1970s has long since solidified his icon status among powerhouses such as Freddie Mercury, John Lennon, and David Bowie.

Jagger, known for his distinct tone of voice and exceptional dance skills, has followers of all ages and does not appear to be slowing down anytime soon.

Jagger, born on July 26, 1943, grew up in Dartford, England, where he developed an early love of singing. “As a child, I was always singing. I was one of those kids who enjoyed singing. Some children enjoy singing in choirs, while others enjoy strutting their stuff in front of the mirror.

“I was in the church choir, and I also loved listening to singers on the radio β€” the BBC or Radio Luxembourg β€” or watching them on TV and in the movies,” Jagger stated in the biography “According to the Rolling Stones,” according to Reader’s Digest.

Before a serendipitous meeting with a primary school classmate named Keith Richards changed the path of his life forever, he studied at the London School of Economics. The couple began to meet to experiment with performing music together after bonding over a mutual love of rhythm and blues.

By 1962, he and Richards, together with his buddy Brian Jones, had moved into a flat in Chelsea, London, and began to consider a career in music seriously.

Even though he wanted to be a musician, Jagger continued to study business on a government grant in the hopes of becoming a journalist or politician if his musical dreams fell through. According to Christopher Andersen’s biography, “Jagger,” he abandoned this plan after he started obtaining gigs since doing both “seemed like too much hard labor.”

This led Jagger to devote his entire life to music. In July 1962, Jagger joined Richards and Jones, both on guitars, for their first performance as the Rolling Stones in a London jazz club. They had earned enough power by the following year to begin playing sold-out shows. After their first two No. 1 singles in the United Kingdom in 1964, Jagger and Richards started to creating the material for the band. They had their first global smash with “(I Can’t Get No) Satisfaction,” a song they wrote together.

Throughout their incredible 60-year career, the band has delivered some of the most enduring rock ‘n’ roll songs, including “Paint It Black,” “Honky Tonk Woman,” “Sympathy For The Devil,” “You Can’t Always Get What You Want,” and “Gimme Shelter.”

The Rolling Stones are one of the best-selling acts of all time, having earned multiple Grammys and a Grammy Lifetime Achievement Award. They were elected into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame in 1989 and the UK Music Hall of Fame in 2004. They routinely top prominent music journals’ lists of the best bands ever.

As the band continued to deliver chart-topping records, their reputation as party-loving troublemakers grew. Along with this, Jagger’s reputation for drawing female attention grew, and the press began to speculate on his sexual liaisons and follow his every move to acquire the inside scoop.

Models Chrissie Shrimpton, Bebe Buell, and Carla Bruni, as well as singers Marianne Faithfull and Marsha Hunt, are among the women Jagger has been linked to. Despite his run of relationships, the rocker had only been married and divorced once, in 1971, to Nicaraguan-born actress Bianca Jagger.

He later married American model Jerry Hall, with whom he had been involved since the late 1970s, in Bali, Indonesia, in 1990, but the marriage was never formally recognized. When Jagger began dating Sophie Dahl, the granddaughter of famed author Roahl Dahl, at 24, he made headlines.

Before her death in 2014, he previously dated fashion designer L’Wren Scott. She bequeathed him her $9 million wealth, which he used to establish a scholarship at London’s Central Saint Martins College.

Jagger began dating American ballerina Melanie Hamrick the same year Scott died, and the couple welcomed a son, Deveraux Octavian Basil Jagger, in 2016, when the musician was 73 and Hamrick was 29. Jagger had seven other children with four different women before the birth of Deveraux, making him his eighth kid. Jade Jagger, model Georgia May Jagger, and model and actress Elizabeth Jagger are among his most famous offspring.

Hamrick met Jagger in New York while performing with the American Ballet Company. She stopped dancing when she became pregnant with their baby, although she still works on choreography. In September 2022, she also released her debut book, “First Position,” an erotic fiction novel.

The numerous images of her son on social media show that Hamrick is quite proud of him. Deveraux, with his blonde hair and blue eyes, embodies childlike innocence. He inherited his father’s distinctive appearance with the same prominent pout and downturned eyes.

On December 8, 2022, the joyful mother marked her son’s sixth birthday with a heartfelt Instagram post featuring a carousel of images. They demonstrated how much of a mini-Jagger Deveraux is developing into. The first image was of Deveraux in what appeared to be a recording studio, wearing a T-shirt with The Rolling Stones’ iconic lips and tongue insignia.

The second shot showed a happy Deveraux on a theme park ride, while the third showed him being embraced by Jagger and Hamrick, who were also holding a colorful birthday cake. The last image showed a happy Deveraux waving while riding a fairground ride.

“Happy 6th Birthday to our AMAZING Devi!” “I adore you so much!!!!!” Hamrick accompanied the photo with a series of red heart emojis. Before sharing the lovely family images, Hamrick sparked speculation about her forthcoming wedding to her rockstar husband by uploading a mirror selfie of her dress for a night out in November 2022.

Fans’ tongues wagged when they noticed a diamond band on her ring finger. “A ballerina hairdo fits with everything,” she captioned the shot.

While there hasn’t been any official announcement on whether the iconic rockstar will walk down the aisle again, witnessing Deveraux grow up in almost the same mold as his famous father appears to keep Hamrick and Jagger as pleased as any parents could be.
