Mia Robertson is inconsolable.
Mia Robertson, Missy, and Jase Robertson’s daughter, are in sorrow after learning of the loss of a man who had a massive impact on her life.
Dr. David Genecov, caring for the young kid for many years, was killed in a car accident. Missy Robertson announced on Instagram that her daughter Mia had surgery to fix a cleft lip and palate.
“His kind personality helped soothe her (and me), but his consistent encouragement to both of us that we can do difficult things helped Mia, and I become stronger than we could have dreamed,” Missy recalls.
Since she was a tiny child, Mia Robertson’s path has been carefully documented. She had her 14th operation in July, which she feels will be her last. The Mia Moo Fund was created to guarantee that every kid has the chance to smile.
Missy Robertson stated that she told Mia about the problem, which Mia takes very seriously. The family will remember Dr. Genecov fondly for his desire to incorporate Mia in decision-making and his impeccable dress.
He was more than we could have dreamed or expected for her cleft trip. We shall miss him terribly, but we will be eternally grateful for the work he performed for Mia, his cleft lip and palate patients, and the legacy of medical advances he leaves behind for future generations.
Mia has yet to make any note of the event on social media. “She has no recollection of her life before meeting Dr. David,” her mother continued. “We respectfully request that you pray for his family and everyone affected by his death.”
