Loretta Lynn’s Dying Last Words Have Been Revealed

Loretta Lynn’s final days were a combination of delight and devastating tears as she bared her deathbed confessions and final regrets while fearlessly staring death in the eye and refusing to blink, according to RadarOnline.com.

According to a close member of the family, as the end approached, Lynn divulged her deepest secrets, including the truth about her love for country music titan Conway Twitty, why she was resentful of her closest friend Dolly Parton, and how she blamed herself for her beloved son Jack’s death.

“During her final days, Loretta had time to reflect on her life,” a family friend revealed. “She was proud of her amazing successes, but she had some never-spoken-of secret sorrows she needed to unburden before joining her departed loved ones on the other side,” a friend noted.

“Her illicit love for Conway weighed the most heavily of all.”

Loretta had been married to Oliver “Doo” Lynn for 20 years until she met Twitty in 1968. Her husband’s drunkenness and skirt-chasing drew her closer to Twitty as they began recording a series of No. Duets include their signature Louisiana Woman and Mississippi Man.

The pair rose to prominence in country music, and their connection led people to believe they were married and were close enough to be lovers.

“Conway provided Loretta a shoulder to weep on, even though he was also married,” a friend claimed.

Loretta admitted before her death on October 4 at her Tennessee ranch that “she and Conway deeply loved one other, and she was tempted to get into an affair as vengeance for Doo’s adultery,” according to a friend.

Loretta admitted in her latter days that she was jealous of Dolly despite having 24 No. 1 songs and three Grammy Awards.

“She envisaged Dolly pursuing a career as an actress, transitioning from country to pop music,” a friend added. “Loretta wished for the same thing, but her acting career began and ended with a TV guest appearance on The Love Boat.”

“Producers also informed Loretta that her voice was to the country for pop.”

According to sources, Loretta’s biggest regret was following her mother Clary’s grave warning when she bought her magnificent 3,500-acre estate with Doo in 1966.

“Clary told Loretta she and Doo should pack their belongings and leave,” a friend added. “She had the impression that the grounds were haunted and warned Loretta that if she didn’t leave, one of her children would drown there.”

Loretta’s oldest son, Jack, 34, drowned in 1984 while attempting to cross the ranch’s river on horseback.

Loretta lost Doo in 1996, and Betty Sue, her oldest daughter, died in 2013 at 64. Loretta acknowledged before her death that “she regretted not listening to her mother,” a friend revealed. “She died feeling that her house was cursed.”
