Hunter and Hope Madden have desired to start a family and become parents ever since they were first married.

Hunter and Hope were disheartened to discover that attempting to get pregnant was more challenging than they had imagined.

Hope had low levels of both hCG and progesterone, which made it difficult for her to conceive and even more challenging for her to maintain a healthy pregnancy when they visited fertility specialists.

Before becoming pregnant with their son, Owen, the couple went through two early miscarriages following months of fertility treatments and waiting.

The couple was devastated to learn Owen’s heart had stopped beating during their first sonogram with him.

However, the pair didn’t give up and kept trying. They conceived Evelyn Madden, their rainbow child, at that time.

Hunter and Hope worried about Evelyn’s health the whole time they were expecting her.

Hope stated, “We were well-prepared for the worst.” “I believe that feeling persisted throughout my pregnancy. We were passively waiting for the ground to give way under us at any moment.

In spite of their darkest worries, Hope was successful in carrying Evelyn to term.

The couple discovered that they were mourning Owen’s passing more forcefully than ever during the 40 hours of natural labor.

But the traumatic, emotional birth also brought about healing. As they got ready to deliver their little miracle, the two grew closer.

Hunter and Hope finally realized their dream of becoming parents when tiny Evelyn was born.
