Many country music fans are stunned after singer Garth Brooks made a stunning disclosure. For his latest initiative, the artist has teamed up with Bud Light. The artist has opted to sell the beer at his Nashville establishment.

The musician justified his decision, claiming that his bar would be a place of unity and acceptance and would offer “every brand of beer” at the establishment. He even went so far as to call individuals who drink alternatives to Bud Light “a**holes.”

People are now furious with the artist for making this remark. Michelle, who has been a fan of the musician since the 1990s, is offended by his latest words. She concluded her tweet with the words, “Welcome to the boycott.”

Other fans were outraged and said they would boycott his bar and his music. One user tweeted, “My trash bin is filled…”I got rid of everything with Garth Brooks’ name on it.”

Brooks attempted to justify his action by stating that he valued diversity and wanted to support it. “I adore variety. “Everyone is included, so everyone is welcome,” he said.

The controversy around Bud Light began in April of this year. Dylan Mulvaney, a transgender influencer, received some cans from the beer firm. The influencer then made videos of herself costumed as Holly Golightly from Breakfast at Tiffany’s, explaining the beers and how people may win money through the company’s sweepstakes. She also mentions in the video that it was her 365th day as a woman, which the company celebrated by sending her a personalized can with her image.

People were displeased with the beer company’s partnership and thought it was distressing that they platformed a trans influencer. Travis Tritt, a country musician, announced that he would drop Anheuser-Busch (the parent business of Budweiser) from his tour due to their choice to send a trans influencer some drink.

The argument over Bud Light is still raging months after it occurred. What are your thoughts on the circumstance and Garth Brook’s decision? Tell us in the comments.
