Following a medical emergency that sent him to the hospital, Quincy Jones has been discharged.
Jones’ agent claims that the 90-year-old music producer experienced a negative response to some meal and dialed 911 for assistance out of caution. To handle the problem, paramedics arrived at Jones’ Los Angeles residence early on Saturday.
Jones was then taken to the hospital, where medical professionals examined him right away to make sure everything was alright. Soon after, he received the all-clear from medical professionals and left the hospital.
According to his spokesman, the seasoned music producer never lost consciousness during the incident and was in “great spirits” the entire time.
Jones celebrated his 90th birthday in March of this year. Many artists from all generations have praised him. According to singer and actress Jennifer Hudson and rapper Ludacris, everyone in the music industry looks up to Quincy Jones. “He is a blueprint of this industry!” Hudson exclaimed of the famous producer. That’s how easy it is.
Chaka Khan hailed the producer as “the best that there ever was in his field.”
In a 1996 interview, Oprah Winfrey stated of Quincy Jones, “Everyone who ever is around him says the same thing, that there’s a light about him,” adding, “He stole my heart when we did The Color Purple.”
He is a fantastic father, says Rashida Jones, the producer’s daughter, adding, “He is very supportive of anything that I decided to do.”
The humble producer does not give any thought to his own legacy. He claimed in 1990 that he doesn’t “have a clue” what it will be but that he is “just going to keep on doing my thing and hope that it will mean something to somebody.”
