Dustin Hoffman’s health: The Hollywood actor was diagnosed with cancer and was “surgically cured.”

Dustin Hoffman is best known for his roles in Rain Man and Kramer vs. Kramer. The Hollywood legend has had long-lasting success, but he has also battled personal health issues.

The 84-year-old survived an unspecified type of cancer that he kept private.

When the ordeal was over, his representative, Jodi Gottlieb, told People about it.

“It was caught early, and he was surgically cured,” she said.

“Dustin is in good health and is feeling great.”

According to reports, the Oscar winner was advised that he would need to undergo preventative treatments to reduce the likelihood of his cancer returning.

Following his cancer battle, the actor went on to star in the comedy film Chef alongside Scarlett Johansson and Robert Downey Jr.

Around the same time, other prominent Hollywood figures were diagnosed with cancer.

Michael Douglas, a Hollywood actor, also had cancer around the same time but survived after his cancer went into remission.

Uncontrollable cell growth in a specific part of the body causes cancer.

These cancerous cells can cause damage to surrounding tissues and organs, making it a highly morbid disease.

The disease, which affects roughly one in every two people in their lifetime, begins in one area of the body before spreading to others.

Changes in your body’s processes, as well as unexplained symptoms, may be symptoms of cancer.

When you visit your doctor with these symptoms, one of the first questions they ask is whether you have cancer.

Hoffman’s most recent completed project was the mystery thriller Into the Labyrinth, which was released in 2019.

He portrayed a detective whose life goal is to catch a murderer.

He will also appear in the film As They Made Us, which will be released on April 8th of this year.
