After their divorce, Kevin Costner’s wife requested that he pay her $248,000 monthly for cosmetic surgery.

Even while the divorce is never simple, celebrity splits are frequently extremely nasty because millions of dollars are frequently at stake, and everything takes place in the open.

Kevin Costner and Christine Baumgartner’s divorce is taking an ugly turn as the Yellowstone actor accuses his ex-wife of requesting a sizable amount of child support to cover her plastic surgery costs.

According to a report from last week, Baumgartner requests $248,000 per month from Costner in child support, claiming that the amount is “less than the amount needed to maintain the children in their accustomed lifestyle.”

Together, the couple has three children: Cayden, 16; Hayes, 14; and Grace, 13 years old. According to reports, Baumgartner wants Costner to cover their medical bills and private school tuition.

However, according to TMZ, Baumgartner is claiming unrelated expenses to explain that sum, including $100,000 in cosmetic surgery, according to court records filed by Costner.

Along with one-time costs like construction loans, Baumgartner’s spending includes thousands of dollars on boutique shopping, large ATM withdrawals, credit card bills, and her attorney fees.

According to the document from Costner’s forensic accountant, the actor has been covering all of the children’s expenditures, and the $51,940 per month that he is currently contributing is a fair amount.

Baumgartner has reportedly refused to leave their $145 million mansion, claiming that she will only do so if Costner consents to pay “whatever support fee orders the court makes” at their upcoming divorce hearing on July 12. This is even though their prenup stipulated that Baumgartner had 30 days to leave the property, according to Page Six.

According to Baumgartner, Costner wants to prevent “making temporary and inconsistent housing arrangements” for the benefit of their children and wants her to “rent a place without a financial plan in place,” according to Radar Online.

Baumgartner’s lawyer, John Rydell, allegedly charged Costner with attempting to “kick Christine and their three children out of the house the children have lived in for their entire lives.”

Although there is little to no legal support for Kevin’s request to evict his wife and kids from their house, Christine still views this as a crucial issue.

After 18 years of marriage, Baumgartner filed for divorce from Costner on May 1, citing “irreconcilable differences.” Since then, the contentious Hollywood divorce has been in full swing.

At the time, a Costner representative released a statement saying, “It is with great sadness that circumstances beyond his control have transpired which have resulted in Mr. Costner having to participate in a dissolution of marriage action.”

However, it was said that Costner was “stunned” by his wife’s divorce application. According to a friend who spoke to Page Six, “Kevin was very surprised by Christine’s actions, he doesn’t want the divorce and would take her back.” He loves her and his kids, so it’s disappointing.

We hope Costner and Baumgartner can settle their issues amicably because it’s always heartbreaking to watch individuals go through an acrimonious divorce, especially when kids are involved.
