A childhood accident burned most of her body. Her mother rejected her
Svetlana Alekseeva was only a young child when she suffered horrible burns; nonetheless, this has not prevented her from pursuing her goals of being a model.
The Russian teen, who is 18 years old, shared her story, stating, “I have always wanted to be a model, but I was informed that because of my burn scars, I would never be allowed on the catwalk.”
When I had this realization, I asked myself, “Why do I need a catwalk when I can be a photo model?”
As a result, she is working toward making it a reality by utilizing various forms of social media as a platform.
When Svetlana was younger, she was fooling around with a lighter and somehow managed to set fire to her outfit, which was made of a low-quality fabric that quickly caught fire.
When her mother finally returned home a couple of hours later, she discovered her severely burned daughter passed out on the floor.
According to Svetlana, who is now 18 years old, her mother did not pay a single visit to her daughter for the next two months that she spent in critical care.
Shortly earlier, her dad had passed away, and as a direct result of this, her mother had begun drinking heavily.
Svetlana asserts that when she was discharged from the hospital, her mother began to make fun of her and on one occasion even struck her with a metal pipe.
She even goes so far as to allege that her mother attempted to drown her in the bathtub while she washed her hair and routinely cut her with knives. In fact, she goes so far as to state that.
Because to her mother’s drinking, Svetlana spent a significant portion of her childhood moving back and forth between her family’s house and an orphanage. The authorities would put her there whenever her mother was intoxicated.
According to Svetlana, “I adored her back then and I was guarding her up until December 2012, when the court ordered me to the orphanage for good.”
However, this was not the end of her problems.
She had to go through a horrible experience with rape before she ultimately met her current partner Andrey online. She gives him credit for enabling her to turn her life around after he helped her find him.
Since then, Svetlana has embarked on a somewhat improbable career as a model.
She has been increasing the size of her portfolio online with the assistance of social media, and she has become something of a phenomenon on the internet, with over 16,000 people following her journey.
