Bruce Willis Battles Dementia: A Glimpse into His Life Shared by Daughter Tallulah

Retired actor Bruce Willis has recently been diagnosed with dementia, bringing about difficult times for both him and his family. In a recent interview, Bruce’s daughter, Tallulah Willis, provided a glimpse into their lives amidst this challenging situation.

While the interview primarily focused on Tallulah’s collaboration with luxury silk brand Kumi Kookoon, the conversation naturally touched upon Bruce’s health. Tallulah shared that although she leads a busy life, she makes it a point to visit her father whenever possible. However, she mentioned that these visits require mental preparation, saying, “I’ll go visit my dad and spend some time with him.”

Tallulah approaches these visits with an open mind, unsure of how they will unfold. She explained, “I go into it open to what the visit is, and knowing that before I go in, I’m solid. I’m okay.” Her goal is to be fully present during their time together, and she ensures she has done everything necessary to achieve this state of mind.

As for Bruce’s current health, Tallulah shared that he is continuing on a similar path as before, which is considered positive news. She added, “But whatever kind of day it is, my family and I meet him where he’s at.” This statement alludes to the fact that there are good days and not-so-good days when it comes to Bruce’s condition.

Amidst it all, Tallulah is also managing her own diagnosis of autism. Reflecting on the blankets she designs, she explained, “And as I’m learning more about my autism and my sensory stuff, there is something very safe and special about that weighted feeling.”

This touching interview with Tallulah Willis sheds light on the challenges faced by her father, Bruce Willis, as he battles dementia. It serves as a reminder of the importance of supporting loved ones during difficult times and meeting them where they are, regardless of the circumstances.
