Country icon Dolly Parton makes a touching visit to a hospice patient.

After visiting a hospice patient who wasn’t afraid to express her appreciation for the legendary country singer, Dolly Parton once again proved why the world adores her.

Jackie Carroll is receiving treatment from the CoxHealth medical staff in Missouri for early-stage Parkinson’s and Alzheimer’s disease.

The hospital staff posted Carroll’s adoration of Parton on Facebook in the middle of April. Photos showed Carroll’s room being crammed with Parton memorabilia and photos. Carroll could also be seen carrying a microphone and giving her best Dolly Parton impersonation.

According to rumors, Carroll is fully versed in Dolly Parton’s songs “Coat of Many Colors” and “9 to 5.”

“Dolly’s music brings Jackie joy and comfort every day,” the medical staff wrote on their website. “We would love to arrange a face-to-face or virtual meeting with Dolly to fulfill her dream.”

To assist in setting up a meet-and-greet, the medical team asked if anyone had ties to Parton. Someone did.

Parton paid a visit to Carroll earlier this month. The two women could be seen interacting with one another and smiling in photos that were shared on Facebook.

Jackie has loved Dolly since she was a young child, according to a statement from Carroll’s family. She proudly performs Dolly’s songs, conducts pretend phone conversations with Dolly, and decorates her bedroom with Dolly-themed dΓ©cor. For Jackie, this was a once-in-a-lifetime experience! Thanks to everyone who helped make this possible.
