After three weeks of being hospitalized for a medical issue, Jamie Foxx speaks up.

Since being admitted to the hospital three weeks ago for a medical issue, Jamie Foxx has kept his fans in the dark. He has now broken his silence with his first update.

On Tuesday, April 11, the Django Unchained actor was brought to the hospital after an unclear incident. His daughter Corinne Foxx announced the news to the public.

In a message on Instagram, Corinne stated, “We wanted to share that my father, Jamie Foxx, encountered a medical problem yesterday.

Fortunately, he is progressing toward recovery thanks to prompt action and excellent care.

“We are grateful for your prayers and know how loved he is. The family requests discretion at this time. The Foxx Family, with much love.

Foxx stayed mute, and his fans’ concern grew as the days went by with no new information.

Early this week, one of the actor’s closest pals issued a public prayer plea, which did little to assist the situation.

“I need you all to constantly keep our beloved brotha @iamjamiefoxx up whom we all love & care for dearly in our Hearts, Minds, & Prayers,” Foxx’s “brother” and prominent hip-hop figure Charlie Mack said on Instagram. Please come back. @iamjamiefoxx, sir, I know your tenacity since you’re a warrior, a strong person, and resilient. You won’t be leaving in that manner.

“A true champion, as I often say, isn’t the one who wins; it’s the one who faces and overcomes adversity! Your trial serves as your witness! We all can’t wait to get you back home to celebrate, laugh with and congratulate you!!” He went on. “Through the compassion of Allah, the Almighty, the Maker of Heavens and Earth!!! Oh Allah, I humbly pray you once more to restore and heal our brother @iamjamiefoxx so that he can be stronger and better than ever! I have no qualms about appealing and begging for your gracious healing skills to work a miracle for our brotha right now, not when it’s convenient for us. I must & shall thank you in advance, your kind, humble servant Kareem Abdullah alias Charlie Mack Ameen!”

Although a source told People in April that Foxx was “awake and alert,” the reason for his hospitalization remains unclear.

Thank God, they said, “He’s fine.” He is still in the hospital, where tests are being performed, but he is awake and conscious. They are watching over him.

Despite not being on set at the time of the hiccup, Foxx was filming Back in Action at the time of the incident. And according to People, he was not driven to the hospital in an emergency vehicle.

After remaining silent for three weeks, Foxx has thanked the public for their love and support. On Instagram, the 55-year-old wrote:

“Thank you for the love, everyone! I feel blessed.”

The actor also shouted out to Nick Cannon on his Instagram story for stepping in to host the upcoming season of Beat Shazam.

Appreciate you, my boy, @nickcannon, Foxx wrote. Soon, everyone.

Let’s hope Jamie Foxx’s health improves so he may resume the activities he and we both love most.

Spread the word about this story to express your condolences for Foxx.
