Uma Thurman is in tears after an accident which could have killed her.

Uma is one of Hollywood’s most well-known actresses. The actress rose to international prominence due to her role in the Kill Bill film series, but at a cost.

The actress released a video from the film set depicting a terrible vehicle accident in which she was involved.

Just days after her dramatic New York Times interview, Uma uploaded a video of her accident from the Kill Bill set on Instagram.

The actress blamed the blunder on the film’s producers and management. She stated that the conditions surrounding this tragedy were illegal because they were so reckless.

She said that she acquired the tape from director Quentin Tarantino years later to expose it.

“I am proud of him for doing the right thing and for his guts,” the actress stated about the filmmaker. “He was also fully aware that it had the potential to do him personal harm.”

“The cover-up following the accident is reprehensible,” stated the actress.

Despite her reservations about the car’s condition, Uma told the New York Times that Quentin encouraged her to go forward with the interview.

The video shows Uma driving a fast vehicle on an off-road circuit until an unexpected steep turn and deadly bumps cause her to receive injuries as the vehicle comes to a stop.

Uma suffered knee and neck pain as a result of the accident. It was eventually discovered.

What were the producers and Quentin Tarantino’s reactions to the accident?

Quentin later stated that Uma’s accident was “one of the saddest regrets of my life” shortly after Uma’s interview and the tape’s public release.

The director insisted on testing the automobile in one way before requesting Uma to attempt it.

He also admits to making “one of my most horrible mistakes” by failing to notice the turn in the road.

In contrast, the director refuted Uma’s assertions that he persuaded her to join the car. “I didn’t push her into the automobile. She trusted me enough to get in the car with me. He said she agreed with him.”

Kill Bill producer Lawrence Bender responded to Uma’s charges after the YouTube video of the incident leaked.

“I profoundly regret that Uma has suffered such misery, both physically and emotionally, for all of these years as a result of the disaster that occurred on the Kill Bill set,” he told the Hollywood Reporter in a statement.

“I never want to let someone down. “I am particularly concerned about the safety of the people working on my films.”

He did, however, highlight that there was no “cover-up,” which contradicted Uma’s accusations.

“I never kept anything from Uma or anybody else, and I would never have taken part in any type of cover-up,” he claimed.

When Uma crashed on the Kill Bill set in 2018, her life was in jeopardy.

According to a SAG-AFTRA union official, the accident’s conditions “would be a potential safety violation.”

According to the spokeswoman, only stunt professionals should conduct stunts under the direction of a stunt coordinator to ensure correct and safe performance.

It was a death box, according to Uma in her NYT interview. Screws were not utilized to hold the seat in place. The route was strewn with sand and twisted.
